How does this compare to an EVO9 regarding efficiency and ease of install on a vr4? I have an EVO9 waiting to go on but I have not started the project yet. Would this save me any headache? Thanks!

Yes because it has one inlet/ outlet pointing up. Also it's bigger than the evo9.

The Evo 10 core is probably more efficient, but I doubt it would be easier to install, as the top outlet is going to be hard to deal with.


Bottom line, both cores are going to take some modification to fit properly so the headache is going to be there no matter what. Look at this thread for the details on both cores, and decide for yourself which would be more of a headache to install. click
