So my dash coolant temperature goes to full hot as soon as it has power, all I want to know is which sensor on the t-stat housing is it that tells the dash the temperature. Is it the top one or the front/bottom one? thanks.

if your lookin at it normally it should be the one at the bottom of the housing next to the 2 prong sensor. the sensor ur looking for has only one, should be a single yellow n green wire that goes to it. im almost positive

Correcto. The 2 wire to the left is the ECU Coolant temp sensor and the sing wire to the right of it is the dash temp sensor. Talking about the front side of the t-stat housing
