Tuning Apexi S-AFC???

I wanted to know if anyone has tuned one of these Apexi SAFCs (its an safc 1, not 2 or neo)for a 4g, and where I hook up all my wires too!!! Lets start uout with that question, then I can go to the tuning questions =)

thanks,

-Keith

VFAQ has a nice write up by RRE about how to install and initial tuning setup. Its 'not' the one under electrical. Go to miscellaneous, gvr-4 upgrade path, and its about 1/2 way down the page in the air fuel section.
Basically you have to splice into the stock ECU harness in the passenger kick panel. Not difficult, just take your time and make sure that its a clean install.

Wow, no, I'm pretty sure no one has ever done that before. Good thing you put this in the Technical section.

I you are dead set on using a SAFC FIRST do the following
1) Make sure you ECU is capped and resocketed!
2) Go to this website click and order a chip from Keydiver specific to your mods. This will eliminate 98% of the tuning you will have to do, and will keep your timing maps where they should be.
3) Buy a palm logger and install mmcd
4) Buy a wideband...you can't tune without knowing what your car is doing.

I'm only 20-30 miles south of you, so we should hook up first to inspect your ECU before you start getting in too deep trying to tune with an AFC.

Need to know what I wire my Apexi S-AFC up to... If anyone has a wiring diagram that would be great.. Want to figure out what I wire it up to so I can start tuning it!

Thanks,

-Keith
