I found a nice set of Volk's rims that are 4x114.3 , but the only problem is that there are staggered. The offset for the fronts is +32, I'm not sure on the rear's yet. Has anybody used a staggered setup on a AWD car before?

I check the tire/wheel size comparer, and if I use 235/45/17's on the front and rears, there is no difference in the tire diameter/ or Sidewall height.
http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

For the fronts I inputed this info: 235/45-17 x 8.0 ET 32
For the rears I inputed this info: 235/45-17 x 9.0 ET 32.

This is the info i get;
Code:

Code:
Tires: Tire 1 Tire 2

Tire size:	235/45-17 235/45-17
Section width:	235 mm (9.3'') 235 mm (9.3'')
Sidewall:	106 mm (4.2'') 106 mm (4.2'')
Tire diameter:	644 mm (25.4'') 644 mm (25.4'')
Rim sizes:	17x7 to 17x9 17x7 to 17x9
Circumference:	2022 mm (79.6'') 2022 mm (79.6'')
Revs per mile	795.9 795.9

That doesn't sound right. That website states that 17x6 with the same tyres will have the same measurements as both the 17x8 or 17x9. I think these numbers are the measurements of the tyre when not fitted to a wheel.

Ok I just talked to the seller and the offsets are:

Front: 17x8 +37
Rear: 17x8 +32

It's like adding a 5mm spacer in the rear. Should be okay just don't think about being able to rotate them

So are they both 8in wide or is one a 9in as the original post indicates?

As mentioed mutiple times in the other thread as long as the rollout on the tires is exactly the same or damn close you won't have an issue.

The biggest variable when using the same size tire on different size wheels is the stretch. It will effect the rollout but by how much is the question.
