Any experience with d2 coilovers

I was wondering if anyone has had an experience with the d2 coilovers? I am in the market for new suspension. I came accross these while doing a google search. For around 1000 you get full coilovers with pillow ball camberplates. Forthat price I could ignor the gar purple color they are coated in.

I have them on #139. My impression: holy stiff, regardless of the shock setting. It's like riding in a gokart. On bumpy roads with potholes, it's borderline dangerous as the tires literally leave the ground from bouncing and the car jumps. On smooth pavement, dragstrip, or an autox track they would be awesome. The car has absolutely no body roll. Launching at the dragstrip on slicks will cut 1.4 60' times and the rear doesn't squat at all.

You can get custom spring rates from them...just give them a call. I personally like them..rode in 2 cars with them. Great customer service at that too.

I'm wasn't too impressed with them the first time I ran them. Not enough dampening/spring force so it felt like I was constantly bouncing (we have shitting chip seal roads everywhere) and I had 'sea legs' when I got out of the car. The retailer suggested increasing the pre load on the springs, which it suggests not to in the manual. They're going back on the car soon so hopefully it's improved!
