  1. FS: 2006 GSX-R600 One Owner, 2,100 Original Miles

If you were closer to Florida, this thing would have been sold within 15 minutes of listing. GLWS This is well worth the asking price.
  2. The First and only....GVR4 trailer?

So you want to whack the front clip off, put a tongue on it and use it as a trailer? Awesome idea, I hope you plan on moving the axle up to take some weight off the tongue. You should turn the whole trunk and back glass into a hatch.
  3. Help with meth/water injection

Quoting turbowop:This is basically how mine is setup. No controllers. Just a Hobbs switch telling 'link when to switch maps and when to start spraying meth. There are failsafes built into my setup as well. A second Hobbs switch is mounted at the nozzle. If it doesn't see meth pressure, the...

  10. DIY injector cleaning

Why not use a stock fuel rail and a properly drilled plate of aluminum?
  11. DIY injector cleaning

I once built a PWM for running an injector (screwing around trying to make a fuel injected lawn mower) they can be built/bought for cheap and way safer than just connecting 12v straight to the injector. You could probably figure out a way to connect a sealed container to the injector inlet and...
  12. Chewed up BS delete bearing and oil starvation.

Isn't that hole for sliding a screw driver or something into to align the balance shaft?Edit: never mind, I'm thinking of the rear BS
  13. Are all JDM intake manifolds the cyclone version?

That was a really long winded way to say yes, I am correct when I said that there was another "cyclone" manifold that isn't dual runner. He mentioned nothing about this manifold coming off of a VR4 and only asks if all JDM manifolds are cyclone. You don't need to cop an additive with me, I...
  14. Are all JDM intake manifolds the cyclone version?

Quoting fuel: ^^ uh.. not on the JDM models. They all have the Cyclone dual runner system. Early models are badged 'CYCLONE' while later models are badged 'ECI-MULTI'.Damnit I wish I could find a'more 'proving' pic but here is an example of a single runner, 6 bolt style intake manifold...
  15. Are all JDM intake manifolds the cyclone version?

There are two cyclone type manifolds. One is the dual runner and the other is a standard 6 bolt that says cyclone.
  16. 30a Ignition Fuse Keeps Blowing

Quoting STIKLA: How do I tell if I fixed it. I can't keep putting a fuse in and having it blow. What do I set the multimeter too, so I can plug it in to where the ignition fuse is and tell if it's fixed. If so what should it be atGo pick up a 20a automotive breaker and wire that to your...

  20. 1996 eagle summit performance tips

Chopping the back half off will almost certainly result in its demise. Also this site is dedicated to the 6th generation Galant VR4, we'll gladly help you but you may be better off on a Summit/Expo dedicated forum
  21. GSX_TC's Galant VR4 Build Thread #550/2000 (Samara)

  22. Carbon Kevlar hood

You should totally try to organize a group buy
  23. Does any one know the history on 1730/2000?

There is a thread on here where a potential buyer is asking about re skinning the roof because an aftermarket sun roof was leaking.
  24. Real vs phantom knock?

Stupid question but are you venting your blow off valve to atmosphere or back into the turbo intake?
  25. Right turn signal stays on

Does this happen with the parking lights turned on? If so it sounds like a broken filament in one of the dual filament bulbs back feeding through the rest.
  26. FS: 91 vr-4 Galant Black $8500 miami florida

I would expect that short of a description on a $500 roller not a car with an $8500 price tag, yesh.
  27. Electric exhaust cutout ... or convert to full 3"

Why not try a Varex muffler.
  28. P/S System Parts

  30. FS: Dainese Jacket like new, 54 euro, $260; Knox Flex Lite Knee Guards $20

Whats the inseam on the pants and is there pads in the knees?
  31. boost leaks

Throttle body, intercooler pipes and couplers, turbo outlet pipe, injector seals, intake manifold are all common places they leak. When you put your tester on it should be obvious if you're loosing that much air. Don't rule out an exhaust leak. Cracked manifold or even a cracked turbine housing...
  32. New alternator 100amp fuse keeps blowing

You have a dead short on the power wire. Figure out why. A multi meter or test light will be helpful here once you unhook the wires to the alternator, replace the fuse and reconnect the battery. If the fuse doesn't blow then, you hooked it up wrong.
  33. Clutch Master Cylinder!

Yep. Plus not being properly bled because it wasn't properly adjusted.
  34. New alternator 100amp fuse keeps blowing

Quoting lolpartscar: ...the old one had a post with a nut like you are describing and the new one just has a bolt that goes through the ring connector and threads into the alt.You bolted you white wire to the case of the alternator? If so, you have shorted the battery directly to ground.
  35. Clutch Master Cylinder!

    Ehmotorsports nailed it. Improper adjustment.
  36. Clutch Master Cylinder!

What exactly broke? What kind of clutch are you using? Its not unusual for a box store clutch master to fail but rarely in two days. Your best bet for a replacement is an OEM placement, not a reman one from vato zone or ect...
  37. Lean'er wideband #s in colder temps

Cold air = denser air thats why it seems like your car runs better when its cold out because its getting 'more' air. Depending on your tuning set up and a working O2 sensor, your ECU should compensate with its short term and long term fuel trims, just gotta drive it a little bit so it can learn.
  38. Car won't start

That bundle of wires near the water neck, one of them is the coolant temp sensor to the ecu. Fix it and you'll fix your problem. A proper search will show you a diagram.

  40. which galant vr4 do I have?

You can pm iceman your vin number. If the car was previously registered on the forum he may have the original badge number. Otherwise you're SOL. There are no records linking vins to badge numbers. There is a replica key fob for sale in the classified section. You can have whatever number you...
  41. Regular Galant engine versus VR4 and more..........

I'm sure some of the more experianced members will chime in but I'll try to answer a few of your questions1: yes the vr4 engine can be swapped in, it just requires some minor wiring additions. There is very little difference between the vr4 engine and a turbo eclipse/talon/laser of that era so...

    Quoting Turbro_Negro: Hows the brakes?ISWYDT
  43. Anti theft won't turn off

Jiggle the key...Seriously I would check the wiring to that door, especially where it passes through the door jamb to the body. Some time spent with a multi meter will tell you whether it is the switch or the wiring.
  44. Muffler

Never heard of these, I don't see it being that much quiter. Have you thought of getting the best of both worlds and trying a varax muffler?
  45. balance shaft pully removal with belts off

  46. O2 sensor not working?

Have you checked for boost leaks yet? Is the O2 sensor switching when you pull up the data streams? Those are the first things I would check.
  47. FS: 1992 Galant GS DOHC 5spd - $1500 OBO

sh*t, if I would have seen it sooner I would have bought it. Oh well, ya snooze ya loose.
  48. florida gvr4/ dsm thread
