Any workaround for the knock sensor?

Will socketing it to fit the ecmlink chip will be ok? Also does it matter if its AT or manual?

Based on i found these ecu uses same 450cc. My plan is to buy ecmlink (lite or full ver) and start tuning

Hi need your inputs, it happens i found a eprom ecu md169547 which came from jspec vr4. My current ecu was md128618. Will the md169547 work as replacement?do i need to swap wires? My plan in future is to install ecm link and tune my car. Is it ok too that the ecu was AT? And my car was manual...

Thanks for the reply guys.. would it be hard to rewire this ecu to replace my current ecu?like converting evo3 ecu to 1g?my plan was to tune my engine so i can upgrade it. Or should i abandon this rvr ecu and look for less complicated way.
