Hi everyone I purchased this gvr4 (ad is below) about 2 weeks ago and wanted to start a build thread on it as I never done this before and trying to learn how to use the forum.

*Warning* Updates will be slow at first as I am in the process of buying a house.

I purchased 763 up in Oregon and towed it back to California where I live. 763 does need tlc but overall in really good shape. Just like the ads says it does have a few leaks, valve seals being my main concern but she does run and drive. After unloading her off the trailer the clutch bite was really high, and after shifting to 2nd gear it felt like it had no clutch at all. Rpms just went high and went no where.... Was weird because I test drove the car before buying it and it felt fine??? Anyways before i dug into trying to figure out what was wrong I hit up Shane (the guy that posted the car.....really cool dude btw) and asked him about it and he was kind enough to send me a link on how to adjust the pedal and kinda like a troubleshoot if it would be the clutch or the pedal assembly. So got that adjusted and Now it works like a charm.

Here’s some pics of when I picked it up

I ordered the Gates gas filler neck hose (24716) and some clamps off of amazon so just waiting for that come in. I also went to my local turner shop to get the head cleaned up but they’re backed up till October 23 so looks like the car will be sitting for a bit <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

White is my 2nd favorite GVR4 color, behind black...

Looks really clean. Nice score.
