tach signal

where can i get a tach signal from for a shift lght. finaly traded the big one i had for a smaller sngle led one.

 

i want to use pin 21 but i can be wrong if anyone can verify. i am thinking the cam angle sensor should work since its a distibutarless ignition

"Depending on what the shift light needs in the way of an RPM signal you can use the ignition pulse detect on pin 109 or the CAS signal from pin 21. I think the IPD signal is a 12v pulse where the CAS signal is a 5v pulse."

21 is CAS, I would think you'd want 109?


That's where the tach signal comes from.

thank you for the help. i am going to start with pin 29 just because i do not know which signal it required for it does not say. and pin 29 s a lower voltage so thats another reason i will start there. if it does not work i will try 109. like i said thank you for your help

ok got it to work but now what do i set my ppr at on gauge? any ideas
