Galant into Evo 1.9 "Anything is Possible"

Well guys, my buddy totaled his evo9se a few weeks ago. He's getting another evo...but he opted to buy the wrecked evo for $4.5k. Ok now the drivetrain is all good. I have a 91' gvr4 shell with no intention of being a street car. I did some measurements and i know the the engine is backewards "already solved" and it looks do-able. So this spring it's going to FAB-olicious. Thanks for reading...I will keep you guys posted also.

It is not really possable with the use of the evo 8 t-case and trans, It would be pointing the drive shaft through the lower part of the fire wall.

You will have serious subframe issues.

Not impossable but wow... You are in for a crap load of work and I mean a crap load.

Before you start the first thing I would invest in is 6 or 8 18" long pieces of 4 inch tube or I beam and a 1/2 inch thick piece of steel and build a table then you can put the car on the table and elevate it up so you can get under it and weld legs to the table and to the cars subframe. Then go nuts with a plasma cutter, seam weld everything and a few days later will have one sick ride.

Me and a few friends turned a fwd 2nd gen convertible into an awd 35R nasty in 2 days but we had a lift and a thermal dynamics plasma eater.

Just cut the entire body off both cars and swap them, leaving the rolling floorboards and subframes /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
