I use car about once per month, autocross mainly. I turn on, and let her idle for 10min, just to keep fresh, maybe once per week (small battery). So, it didnt turn on yesterday, so i though batt. was dead. I charged it today and nothing. The ecu clicks on ignition, then clicks again a few secs later, like normal when ignition off. Car is pretty much stock, besides suspension. any ideas? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif thanks guys..

Mine did the same thing. Check the battery cables. Sometimes corrosion builds up on the wire near the terminals.

could also be the clutch sensor, if it doesn't detect the clutch as disengaged then it will just click.

I had the plastic piece that pushes the clutch switch in, brake from old age. I just unplugged the clutch switch.

Oh i thought it was a sensor, not switch.. the switch has been bypassed. i cant find clayton book damit. iguess i can check voltage at starter, start there? what about ecu? it does have those updated capacitors.. everything else works fine. just no start. Wasnt the batt. cables either. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
