JDM Bumper spots help wiring

Hey all,

I'm wondering if I can wire my bumper spots off of my park lights or low beam lights? my car origionaly only had bumper flasher lights so has no wiring for the spots.

The spots are the pre face lift JDM and the bulbs are 35w.

Thanks in advance /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

They will blow the fuse on the park lamp circuit and probably on the headlamp circuit also. Ideally you would want to run a whole new circuit and relay for the fog lamps. I did that when I put a VR-4 bumper and fogs onto my old '89 GLX.

Thanks Fuel,

I have a proper dash switch for the spots to fill in the blank in my dash, I got to wondering how I could wire that up to use like the origionals and ended up finding this

I'm not that great with electronics but I can understand that, what relay should I use? as in amperage? what type etc?

just a normal 2/3 pole relay really, one that is normally open when not energised. Should be able to pick one up from DSE, Jaycar, Repco, Supercheap etc.
