question about radiator fan switch

I'm using a radiator without a conventional fan switch tapped in the bottom. I was thinking about just using the ac switch that's on the top of the thermostat housing instead. Since technically the highest point is at the radiator, would there be an issue with this switch being used there to turn the fans on rather than the bottom of the radiator?

This is what I did for my car Chris. Do not use the AC Switch though bc the temperature it turns on is way too high. Take the old temp switch from the radiator and put it in the thermostat housing. Use some teflon paste and maybe an o-ring for it to seal. The threads are slightly different but I have zero leaks doing it that way.

I'm sorry my original post wasnt clear. I was talking about using the switch from the radiator and putting it where the ac switch was on the top of the thermostat housing.
