Gentlemen,
Been working on a simple job (for one of my all time favorite vr4 owner/customers) that has snowballed into a major overhaul.
... started out okay
"hey, Johnny, can you help out with a battery relocate"
... and then down the rabbit hole it went /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif
Now, the transmission is a couple of states away being attended to by a really good man
The vast majority of the tranmission work will be straightforward parts replacement, but it looks like the o.e. fifth gear set in our trannsmission has a few issues.
I'd really like to find a brandy new evoIII fifth gear set and get it out to the man building the transmission as time efficiently as possible.
(He's a family man, and we're imposing on him enough as it is.)
Anybody want to be help an old codger who loves his vr4 out?
