going to the world finals in a week hoping to up our record into the 230s. a moderate tune by church automotive testing (shawn is our go-to tuner) set us up at 930whp with a significant amount still in it for tweaking on the salt.
I don't know what I was expecting, but viewing that dyno graph was very interesting. Good luck with the mph, it's great to see people doing cool things with the GVR4.
We are gunning for your G/PS class record again. We hit 214mph at the four mile mark at World Of Speed. We blew a silicone coupler to smitherines though right after the four mile mark. We went 209 at the four mile at Speed Week and the car broke up all through the last mile. We switched to a different intercooler and speed density and picked up 5mph at the same boost level and a little lean on the tune.
Good luck. I won't be able to make it out for World Finals as I am out of play time. The rest of my vacation I have to use to see my family. I would love to see this car in person.
I sure hope you guys kick some ass and have better luck than you have had the rest of the year at Elmo.
Go kick some ass. And be sure too look up Nick in the black eagle talon. I told him you will be there.
Damn nice numbers... Are you still running the same engine setup or have you made changes over the last year? I found your first post about the vr4 and im curious about the oil pump mod mostly. Keep up the good work and good luck on the salt flats.
