wiper blades issue

having a problem with my wipers not stoping at the right spot... i just literally spent 2 hours messing with the wiper motor and blade positioning... any idea's on what i should do??? if i adjust the wipers it either they stop on the up position on when it goes down it goes down too low that it hides behind the hood...

Remove wiper arms,turn on the wipers,reinstall arms to desired position.

i tried that and its still way off... could this be the cause of me removing the motor and installing it in the wrong gear?

Yea I did this mistake on my dads minivan. I don't remember what I did to fix it but I remember I just kept flipping flopping and changing the motor/gears

Remove the motor and remove the lever bolted on it,reinstall the lever the other way around.
