Well after 5 years of restoring 1649, I finally had a chance to take her out last night to Race Legal at Qualcomm stadium. Boy was I rusty! It was a red light special for me!

I was only able to boost 17-18psi due to the 720's hitting 100% duty on e85, but she did OK...on some 18's!!! Gotta love that Shep tranny! I was able to NLTS through all gears.

Fastest run of the night was 8.1 at 87 with a 1.9 60ft. Unfortunately, we only have 1/8 tracks here in San Diego. Oh well.

There were two other DSM's that kicked ass. One did 6.5 and the other a 7.4. Video link below.

thats awsome.. you just need to lay off the red lights hahah. The guy over the PA sounds like he is 14 hahah. You did cut a 1.8 60ft at one point i heard. No 8th mile tracks here in the northeast that i know of /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif, i cant wait to see how nlts turns out on our shep tranny also.

The best 60's I ever managed were on my old 18" wheels. I pulled a few 1.67's with them. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif
