Rust. Advice needed!!!

So today I went and picked up my Galant.

As soon as I got it home I started looking things over, and I spotted some rust around the back window.
Its nothing major from the looks of it, but I'm a bit worried what I will find behind the window.

Whats the best way to fix this?

Pull the trim and see what you find. Take care of it ASAP if possible.

How do you remove the rear window trim?

Pretty sure plastic clips hold some of it on.

Pry off the trim with a screwdriver.they are held on with 5 or 6 plastic clips.
