Replace 4WS steering pump with... ??

What do you replace the 4WS pump with (the pump thats in the rear pumpkin) when you do a complete 4WS removal??

Has anyone tried a freeze plug??
What other options are out there??
Anyone that has made a plate that works as a replacement for the 4WS pump??

I purchased a diff that had a plastic bottle cap plugging the hole /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif

Wow, a plastic bottle cap and a gasket thing covering the hole, doesn't sound to good /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/uhh.gif

Does anyone know the size that should be used on the freeze plug??

You could just find a nice used 4 bolt rear - they go for around $200 and live worry free! great upgrade !

I have been reading on the 4-bolt, and it seems to be very strong!

But to be honest, my car doesn't see, or will ever see hard launches. I'm more into track driving like the nünburgring track in germany, and the rear end/axels in a car that sees that kind of driving doesn't see a lot of stress/hard launches. At the moment I don't believe that my intentions justifies a 4-bolt rear end. Maybe I'm wrong??

Complete 4-bolts are in my opinion very cheap, but the shipping quote to Sweden will most likely be both my testicles
