Rad fan Question

To day I noticed that my fan isnt turning on. I have a slim fan that turns on when the ingition is in the on position. It seans like if I ground it out to the battery the fan turns on even when the key is out of the ignition. Is there always power to then and they turn of with the ground or something? If I want to drive I have to take the jumper wire I have conected to the blk ground wire and hook them directly to the negative on the battery....LOL IDK damn weard cars LOL /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bawling.gif

Did you install the slim line fan? Or did someone else install it?

 

someone else installed it thats why I dont know whats wrong with it lol.
