PM alert email issues

The emails that alert me of when I receive a new PM or a "read receipt" have been showing up at random times lately. At first I would login to the board and see that I have multiple new PM's that I haven't received any email notification about. And now lately I get notifications at random times that do not correspond to the PMs or read receipts that I actually have.
Just now I logged in because I received a "read receipt" email about an hour ago, but I have no flashing icon in the upper left corner and no new PM in the box. What gives?
Anyone else experiencing these issues lately??

The email is generated directly from the action of sending a PM so the holdup would have to be between the mailservers. If you can read the headers of the email they should be timestamped - this would tell us who is slow.

Seems to be working correctly now. Not sure what was going on. Carry on
