Palm instead of gauges?

basically i have the defi-link digital display to show me fp,op,ot,wt,egt and I was wondering if i used a palmpilot with the ecmlinkv3 software or some other software, will i have everything else i need? because im assuming if i set up the link on the palm and i install a gm 3bar and an lc-1, then the palm will show boost, afr, battery volts, etc...

i dont necessarily enjoy the gauge look so will this setup be sufficient/efficient?

i have a boost gauge on the dash currently and I want to get rid of it so this will give me a reason to buy a palm and a gm 3 bar
