NEMB INTRO Oklahoma 880/2000

I just purchased a 91 GVR4 here in Oklahoma. #880/2000 Will post pics tonight (at work computer atm) I found it on craigslist for 1500. I called the guy but got no answer, he text'd me back saying he was at his grandkids house. I go the following day (yesterday) and look at it. She is sitting in a feild in high grass. I open the driver door to find that she is in NEW condition inside. Not one stain in the carpet, not one blemish one leather seats, dash is perfect...ect. It still smelled new. I look at the odometer... 114K!! I ask him to pop the hood, of course seeing the 4g63 completely stock. I pull the boot to check for shaft play and the old man say "huh....didnt know it had a turbo" Need less to say I am super excited. One owner unmolested GVR4 and I bought it for 1300 DELIVERED!!!! Only reason it sat in a feild for the last year is because he said it would get warm if he sat somewhere and Idle for to long. I went to pull the thermostat right before I left for work to find that there was no thermostat!!! There is no battery in her and timing belt looks dry rotted,so I am replacing the timing belt, water pump and feul pump to be safe before I try to start her and hopefully I just made the purchase of lifetime. Future plans are ~350whp daily. This will be my 3rd 4G63T car and I know my way around them BUT I am a long ways from knowing it all... I am sure there will be many of you out there who's brains will be picked by yours truely.

I cant wait to get off work at midnight and start wrenchin' /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Seems like you are off to a good start. It always nice seeing another GVR4 being put back on the road.

That head looks like it's been gone thru, or rebuilt at some point. There's absolutely no "color" in it. Definitely not the original with 114k miles on it.

Why does it look like wires are hanging out under the steering column?
