mystery plug behind intake

I wasn't the one who put this engine in after doing the balance shaft delete. But he also deleted the A/C. The plug I am holding is labeled A/C. But to the right is on a wire that further down is labeled Knock Sensor. It certainly goes down to a connected knock sensor and all may be well. I'd just like to know where this little plug with the purple rubber weather strip goes. Any ideas?

I believe that goes to the AC compressor.

That sure is a long way from where a compressor would be plugged in!

Compressor had a pigtail harness.
