Let's start here. I have a bare block and get all new parts. Found a stroker kit for a grand. It looks to me to be a fairly good kit but the the reman crank. But hay it's a Grand. Check it out?
It depends entirely on the crank. The second sized standard cut is deeper than the nitride hardened layer. If they can tell you IN ADVANCE that the crank is cut no more than 10 thou then you're probably fine. Otherwise I'd steer clear.
