That's more of a launch control than 2 step. If you have a big turbo to spool up, I have no idea why you would still be using a SAFC to tune with. If your still using a SAFC, most likely you have a small turbo, so I really don't see much point to this.

I agree, pretty much every decent tuning solution will have an option for a 2 step. The safc is like playing in the sand box, kids. Admittedly, I had one up until a couple months ago, but I only used it to monitor.
I've turned some decent times with an SAFC, no reason to hate on them, if you've got a mild build on a street driven car then it works fine. If you're making passes faster than 12's and expect drive-ability and reliability then yeah, step up.
