We're currently having a huge snowstorm, and I thought I'd give you all a taste of it. This is the only snow the VR-4 will see. Next week she is going in for storage when I buy my winter beater.

I was borrowing my brother's snow tires, but then I realized I could only put the rears on. The 3K GT calipers are too large and don't allow the front GSX wheels to fit. It was still a stable ride. Snow tires in back, performance tires in front. I only slipped a tiny bit in turns, going in a line was solid.

Have fun those of you who live in warm states without snow, you lucky bastards! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Wow your car is so nice. Ill use it as encouragement to make mine look nice. I always wondered what those wheels would look like on a galant. Very nice.

This is why I am finishing my second GVR4 for a winter driver. Don't want my 91 to see snow anymore, but love the car in the snow.

I'm moving to burnsville in a couple weeks... I'll find a place to store it for you for the winter. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devil.gif I'll come pick up the keys later

Btw that first picture would be great for the calendar. I'm on my phone so I can't access the thread quickly to see if the deadline has passed.

Wow that first pic is insane. My k grey is being put together mainly for winter use (since it's already quite rusty).

Not to be a dick, but are your summer tires and winter tires the same rolling diameter? If not, you are probably putting undue stress on your center diff and may face problems in the future. I'm pointing this out just in case they are different so you can quickly put the same diameter tires all around and save yourself an expensive transmission rebuild.

What's that white stuff? It was 75 degrees yesterday when we replaced my girlfriend's rack and pinion steering. I don't think we'd survive up there. Ha!

He stated right in the post that he was just borrowing them and the car was going in storage next week. I doubt he would leave it like that for long.

I did this with a subaru and ruined the whole drive train make sure they are the same size, or just put the old rears back on.
