FWD ECU in the VR-4?

am i able to do this? i was under the impression you cant do it, but i do know you can put an automatic in 5 speed. i have a 1g eprom,turbo,fwd ecu that i weant to send out to get repaired, and a little later on down the road i will be getting DSM Link. But before i waste a lot of time & money i want to know if it is possible. ohand by the way i did do some research but have gotten conflicting results. some people say you cant do it, but others claim they have em in there car w/o any issues.anks for the help guys.

Any info/help will be appreciated. I want to get this right the first time & finally have it operating safely.

Okay great! Thanks for the reply. Now I'm thinking about doing the FWD to AWD ECU conversion too
