Are those calipers the same as GVR4 stock? I have the tiny disc first edition brakes on my 1g and would like to upgrade them to at least what we have on our cars. Also, would I need different brackets?

These were removed from a stealth so I'm not positive if the pistons are the same size. I would think they were but you never know about Mitsubishi. No brackets needed, just the 276mm 93+ AWD front rotors and it's a bolt on deal. If you don't have an abs car though I'd consider upgrading to a 1" bore M/C. I have used these calipers on many mirages and 1g dsm's with no issues at all. The older Diamante ones are the same too.

Here is a set that I cleaned up and painted gray. I put them on our old 92 Eclipse GS along with the rotors mentioned above.
