Looks nice. The battery, radiator cap and silver paint on the interior trim aren't oem. Looks like the hood was painted? Or is that just the lighting?

Hood is OEM paint, no fade, showroom finish.

Forgot to mention, car is accident free.

Car actually came with an MMC OEM battery but a month on the ocean came back with little charge. So we swapped a Skyline GTR battery in it.

Yes you are correct, radiator cap is not OEM.
The silver interior bits are done extremely well, if they are not OEM

Quoting fuel:
The wheels aren't OEM either - they are factory on the 8th gen Galant

Technically still OEM /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Wow, beautiful color combo on this one! Not sure about the wheels, pretty sure all later Galants were 5 lug. Still look great on there though, whatever they're from.

Remember these cars were released in JAPAN and the rest of the world in 1996 with multi-link front suspension (like 7G Galant and 2G DSM) along with engine options from 1.8L 4cyl through to 2.5L V6 twin turbo, and others in between like a 2.0L turbodiesel - long before the 8G was Americanised with lame Macpherson strut front suspension, yuck interior and exterior re-styling. Because it didn't exist in the US doesn't mean it didn't exist elsewhere.

This is my old '97 NZDM Galant VR 2.5L V6 5M/T:

And those wheels on the car in question most certainly would have originated from a 1996-2000 JDM Galant VR-G 1.8L GDI, like this one:
