GREAT beater car! HAHA This car is a blast to drive, pretty quick... and best of all... it's a taurus. No one thinks anything of it. It has a 220hp V6 Yamaha (?) engine, 5spd trans, and 8 way power adjustable drivers seat. The car does have a salvage title, but we had it up on the lift, inspected in top to bottom, and there's no apparant frame damage anywhere. But for an 89 taurus, I don't think it would take much for the insurance company to consider it a total loss. From the looks of it, it was only exterior body panel damage that has since been fixed. The car has a "new" paint job, and is very shiny, with only 2 pea-sized dings on the entire car. the front seats are pretty torn up, but nothing a set of seat covers won't fix. I'm asking $1500 OBO for the car. it's gotta go, I need the room, and to pay off some bills. If you have any questions, please send me a message, i'm flexible with the price because I do need this gone quickly.
Oh, from the looks of the receipts, it was a one owner car from 89 to 2003. I have ALL of the receipts during that time of all maintenance done. The car has 119k on it I think, trans replaced at 60k, shifter cables (?) replaced, etc., and all other maintenance is up to date. It also comes with a bunch of extra parts in the trunk, and I think I still have the original window sticker.
