Fog Light Questions

Hey Guys, i have a question, i need help on some things about the fog lamps and maybe some help on the wiring part.

1) what bulb do i use for this?


2) can i just wire up the rheostat without wiring up the fog light switch and still work?

That's an H4 connection, I believe. BUT, I dont think you can get away with doing it like that. Pretty sure you should have the complete circuit with the switch, rheostat, relay and fuses all in-tact and working properly.

I verywell could be wrong though....

H1 bulb and I would keep the wiring factory with all components working as per factory.

Jay t? phdm mpi should have h3.
Phdm gti/mpi and ss dont have wiring ready for the rheostat.your favorite electrician should be able to help.

 

yes Brian, thanks man. for some reason i forgot my pw for the old username and the email associated with it. you have spare of these sockets? the other one was hacked for an HID attempt by the previous owner.
