Exhaust Resonators

I am looking to put two resonators on my exhaust, and I was looking at the Vibrant ones. My question is if you have a 3" exhaust, then you would buy the 3" inlet/outlet resonator, but its 4" around. Will this fit under the car? I am thinking about getting one 12" long and one 18" long, and putting one where the cat goes.


There's also an "Ultra Quiet" one made by vibrant, but that one is 4.5" around. What about this one fitting?


Does anyone recommend against this or have anything to say about it? Maybe recommend a better brand?

I have a full 3 inch dp to vibrant resonator and to a vibrant stealth 3 inch single tip muffler.

Ok cool, did you get the regular vibrant resonator or the ultra quiet one? Is it 12" or 18"? Do you have a cat? Is the resonator in the cats spot or behind it?

I have this ultra quiet click, I have a fake cat from siliconeintakes.com, it's an "all flow cat" and the 3" single tip black muffler.
