I'm behind the times for LED lights. Anyone retrofit modern LED lights? Mainly for low beam. Any good retrofit with the needed resistance built in for a plug and play? I've experienced a few traffic cut offs and close calls lately driving a smaller classic car. I'd like to just drive with the normal lights on during the day, just to avoid collision.

After reading a bunch of reviews on Amazon, it sounds like the LEDs only last a few years. I think I'll just get brighter bulbs from RockAuto. They still might not last as long, but they are cheap.

You gotta get higher end led bulbs if you do, like GTRlighting, morimoto etc (175-$200+), anything on amazon is the equivalent of ebay china knockoff garbage. All the cheap ones may appear brighter, but thats not how you measure light output on led lights, gotta go by the lux/lumen output.
But anything in non-93 clear housings will just scatter the light all over. Brighter halogen bulbs have a shorter lifespan than standard bulbs fyi.
