Differential Oils

I am having to change out my pinion seal due to a leak. The car has a 4 bolt limited slip rearend in it. The oil that is coming out is red(pink) in color. Curious as to what brand or type it would be? And what reccomendations do you have for gear lube for this rearend? Thanks

Might want to go with lightweight shockproof. I don't know how cold it get's in N.C. Def look into effective temp ranges on whatever you do get.

If you do alot of daily miles I would stick with the lightweight as stated above. It's a 75w80 gl-5 rating. If your making alot of power, in warm weather, or only see track duty you will be ok to use the heavy shockproof as it's a 75w250 oil. It states on the heavy shockproof bottle for temps between 25-75F
