I've been reading everyone's input on HR springs and KYB combo. My question is only about how much should I cut to take some of the rake out the back. I've seen 3/4 of a coil, 1 coil, and 1 1/2 of a coil. Please chime in, I'm probably going to cut the dead coils tomorrow but I just need a pointer.

^^ Totally subjective on how much "drop" you want like mentioned. Herrafrush trend skews too many views IMO.

Your going to cut new H&R springs? Can't help you there.

Cutting out the dead coils doesn't hurt anything.

After some advise. I'm just going to install them as is. Not going to cut the springs. I read quite a few threads on this and saw that many of the guys would cut off some of the coils, but I'm just going to leave them alone...the galant already has the rake in the back and it would probably not bother me anyway.
