CV boot

Replacing a torn CV boot. The boot almost goes on while I am prying it with my fingers, but for the life of me I couldn't get it on in an hour. Any suggestions?

Wrong part? Aftermarket crap part, perhaps.

I just called Napa and confirmed it was the inner front boot...

Pics of the issue will really help. I'm trying to visualize what's happening.

Well what's probably going to happen is pulling the inner shaft that attaches to the transmission. Way easier with two people probably
