BISS procedure

I am setting the BISS today and from the VFAQ I am having a hard time telling what pin at the diagnostic plug to ground out. And naturally I want to make sure I do the right one so I don't f anyhthing up. Now is the pin, supposedly pin 10, the third one from the left on the bottom row if you are looking at it with the notch on the top? And where is a good ground?

If you have a datalogger cable plugged into it, it's already grounded. Otherwise I'm not sure, since I've always had the datalogger connected.

Not necessarily true, if you have one of the newer "auto-ON" logging cables, which only ground pin #10 when logging actively. The regular cables simply connect pin #12, the ground pin in the lower righthand corner, to pin #10, just 2 pins above #12, as shown in this picture:
