Getting to the end of the build and I am at a stand still. Well the car is drag only and weight is a big issuse now. I am in the process of going auto, I understand that the conversion adds weight but it also add a low percentage of breaking things. Now down to my question what do you guys think of liquid to air over air to air? I know that with liquid to air you have to run lines and a pump but its keeps the temps down. Air to air is good but cores can get a little crazy. Someone please shead some light on this. All comments are welcome

The car is drag only. Cage, slicks, spray. True it might run better but weight wise and less moving parts. Air to air is less moving parts. Water to air has a heat exchanger, water pump, tank, lines. Now throw the extra weight of a Auto setup

Run it on methanol. Sell off the spray and don't run any IC. Lots of money into a fuel system though.

If you are worried about complexity, stay A/A, but an A/W is better for a strip only car. The weight is barely an issue. Pump only a couple lbs. The intercooler weighs less than a big, efficient A/A, and the exchanger probably evens it out.
