Alternator fuse??

So I just swapped in my new engine rebuild, 6 bolt, and everything is wired but I keep blowing my alternator fuse, I must have a short somewhere but can't find it. If anyone could give me some pointers on how to find the short or ground that would be awesome. I just bought a voltmeter but have very little experience with electric.
