Aftermarket Alarm - Can't find door trigger

I'm installing a Viper 5901 alarm system and I believe I have found all of my connections except for the door trigger. Every guide I find says a green wire with red stripe under the driver kick panel. I found at least 3 different wires, but none of them show 12 volts with the door open and 0 volts with the door closed or vice versa. I found this thread Alarm but I was wondering if anyone had found a different way then tapping the wire behind the cluster for the open door light in the cluster.

I don't have my car around to look at it but I just went right at the door trigger it was prey easy. The wire in question should show 12volts with door closed and 0 with door open. Also make sure your interior lights are working. It might not test if they aren't.

You sure that switch doesn't just connect to ground? The switches I've used did, I believe, as it was the switch towards the rear of the door jamb.

There is this connector with two green and red stripe wires, then there is one other connector that has that wire and it's a bigger connector. None of these wires gave a 12V signal and then 0V signal after the door was closed or vice versa. I guess I will try to cut back some of the wrapping on some of the wires to look for another green and red wire. I looked at that door switch but I'm not sure exactly how to get to that wire.

I found it, I don't remember right off hand where or which wire it was. I can try and check it out tomorrow evening.
