Gauging interest for a billet sending units for GVR4’s. I have a vendor that may be interested since clean OEM units are hard to come by these days. Not sure if this is the right section to post this in, just looking to see if anyone would be interested.

I might find some more info out today. If all goes well I can send out my sending unit to be modeled after.

The entire piece is machined out of a solid piece of aluminum (aka billet) or is this a welded or bolted assembly (not billet)?

I’m not sure yet, if they approve of it I’m sending out my unit to be scanned and what not. Right now just trying to see if there’s still a market for them, so far I think it’s looking pretty good. My buddy is having a meeting with them today and he’s going to bring it up. Fingers crossed

Either way, bet it's a step up from the factory unit, especially for those that have rotted. Ended up welding a fitting on to mine to get it to AN fittings but a new assembly would be nice. Was mainly asking if true billet because that would really increase the cost, although sure would be cool.

Great news, they’re willing to make them so I’ll be shipping my sending unit and tank out in the next few weeks!

Would you be willing to share who is making them? Overall, the forum/group hasn't had the best luck with parts "caught carbon fiber hoods". Not to be a negative nanny, but it would be nice to know more details. I'd be interested as well. Genuine question. Is aluminum or stainless steel better for fuel?

Are you planning on running E85? If so, would use SS instead of aluminum with that much ethanol.

The company is Racetronix and It’ll be a billet aluminum anodized black top hat with orb fittings for multiple line sizes and multiple pump size options. That’s all I know so far but they’re willing to start producing them. A friend of mine is one of their R&D guys and he’s currently at PRI pushing the galant platform.
