This is the radiator fan sensor that sits at the bottom of the radiator. I can't seem to find which one this is exactly as the OEM ones seem to have the 2 paddles perpendicular to each other. The 2g sensor seems similar but the notch on the top of this one is different so I just want to be sure. This has the numbers 7L245M on the thread and a hallmark I can't make out.

The last thing I guess if no one knows, is there a sufficient replacement pigtail/sensor you can recommend that you use? I have this currently setup for a relay for the radiator fan.

Good evening Jake. I’m no expert on this matter however the Thermo Sensor you have pictured seems to be OEM Mitsubishi for a USDM galant vr4.

For reference my sensor (from a ‘91 model) has the following etched into the sensor: 7K 21 85M ND (with a circle) on each face of the six faced sides. While not the same lettering/numbering as your sensor the font is the same.

I hope this information helps. More importantly what are you experiencing? Fan, Cooling, Heat, etc.?

Thank you so much! This answered my question, I didn't know there was a difference with US & JDM spec

With that tidbit of info I was able to find the part correctly

For reference in the future its part #MB356704
