I've looked all over the place and can't seem to find the answer. I would like to put some larger tires on the car but need to figure out a decent wheel setup first. I don't like the wheels to "poke" but I don't want them shoved into the wheel well either. I would prefer to keep them just about flush with the body. I was thinking something along the lines of some 17x8 Diamond Racing Steelies (http://www.diamondracingwheels.com/trucker.html) with a nice aggressive tire. (Lots of gravel/dirt roads out here in the sticks, boys.)

Does anyone know how tall a tire you can get on the car with the D2 setup and 17" wheels? This car looks like it might have brakes from the 3000GT VR4, as they're a bit bigger than the regular 3000GT brakes I recall seeing on these cars, hence the 17" wheel requirement.

Thanks for your help guys!

There is a good database for tire size that can fit our cars click
As far as the brakes, it appears you have 3KGT VR4 calipers (very nice) and you will require wheels with at least +38 offset IIRC
