My slave cylinder recently gave out and the rubber booth was ripped. I just bought one on here, took it apart, compared the pistons and springs. Why do they have different spring length, tension and different color pistons? Which one is better to use? I currently have 1 red and 2 green. My old one is green with stiffer spring.

I tried fitting the green piston to the red body and it won't fit. So basically its over bored to fit bigger piston.

So what's up with the different springs?
