unbolting downpipe to get bung welded

I took my car to a local welding shop and they said there's not enough room to do it with the pipe on the car.

So I'm just making sure its pure unbolt and bolt back on.
(plenty of pb blaster will be involved).

I apologize for such stupid questions.

of course, idk of any car that doesnt have a stock bolt unbolt downpipe.

The only thing I could see going wrong is a broken stud or breaking the gasket.

My camaro has the downpipe bolted on from exhaust manifold but welded at the cat...

Idk if that's from previous owner though.

My o2housing and downpipe are one piece I had to remove the turbo to get the forth bolt off of the 02/downpipe.

Just wondering if this is stock I'll post pics later

That's an 'eliminator' downpipe. Nice, but sketchy when you have to drop it. I'm surprised it wouldn't have a bung in it already, but there it is.

i asked the guy who welded my bung if there is any welding schools around here he said he would teach me for $500 and get me certified.
