lc1 wiring to ecu ONE QUESTION

The yellow wire I'm supposed to connect to the ecu can I solder a piece of jumper wire to it so it can reach the ecu, or will the connection be dropped once the yellow wires is connected to a solid piece of metal wire.

Sorry if what I'm saying is confusing for more clarification please let me know

Ok its just an electrical signal, the type of extension doesent matter as long as the connection makes it threw.
I was worried about messing up the signal to the ecu but looks like I'm good to go thanks.
