How about instead of making 25 different posts about the same things, you just make one thread and stick with it. Also, if you search you will find tons of info about alternators.

DO NOT remove those 3 power steering bolts.

There are two bolts that you get to through the pully. It has two holes that line up and you can get a deep well socket on them. They are 14mm. And a third bolt dead middle on the back of the pump that attaches the pump to the rear of the bracket.

^^ this. (what terry said, 2 posts ago)

DO NOT REMOVE THE LINE ON TOP OF THE PUMP! especially if it does not leak yet.

Disconnect neg battery terminal. Remove the hotpipe. Remove the radiator. Move the PS pump out of the way after removing the 3 retaining bolts, and THEN disconnect the alternator and remove the two bolts retaining it.

REMOVAL Should be as follows, IIRC: 2 hose clamps on hotpipe. 4 rad mount bolts. 2 more hose clamps on radiator/engine. 1 radiator electrical connector (goes to fan and sensor, pass side). Radiator. 3 PS pump bolts. Two fasteners to alternator which retain +(pos) cable. One alternator plug. One Alternator tensioner bolt. One alternator mounting/pivot bolt. Belt. Alternator.

Installation is reverse of removal.

Oh, and one last thing!!

OMG WATCH OUT FOR THE HAIRS! You do NOT want any of that stuff getting into your turbo. It could ruin it!

Yes, if you move the radiator over, it will come out and up.

Remove the alt belt and then you can spin the power steering pully freely. That way you can line up the hole in the pully with the bolt.

should the fan have to come off the radiator?
and there is only the bottom rubber hose and the top that connects the radiator(other than the mounts)

Don't remove the fan. Just remove the upper radiator mounts so that you can swivel the radiator. The alternator should be able to sneak out.

but the top hose from the radiator to the thermostat and the bottom of the engine to the radiator are the only two keeping it in right? (other than the mounts or are you saying i don't have to pull the radiator)

Don't pull the radiator, just do exactly as rgeier says. Remove the upper mounts only, and you will have enough play to get the alt out.

Make room to get it out before you do. You need double jointed wrists and just underneath it is the oil warning light sender. Its plastic and brittle.
