I was looking around my galant that I've had a little while and I started to see a couple wiring projects the previous owners had undertaken. First is the pictures. This red and black wire is coming from the glovebox and is routed back from the fuse panel. Anyone know what this is for? Theres two connectors on the end.

Second is a blue ethernet cable coming from the glovebox as well. It's routed through the firewall and is going into the top of the transmission(maybe a rpm sensor?)

Anyone know whats supposed to go the the connector where the red wire is tapped in to on the second picture?

That socket isn't used for anything stock so your guess is as good as mine. Probably just being used as a switched power source, but who knows what to.
