#689/1000 - work in progress

Hey guys, name's Aaron
bought #689 near the end of '08, with the intention of fixing/restoring it

long story short... money ran tight - used it for my daily the way i bought it until the engine started having problems
now in my basement garage undergoing some engine rebuilding. Its in decent shape, but not exceptional in any way, so i've been intending an actual performance build.

any suggestions?

What is your ultimate goal as far as HP...what do you want to do with the vehicle (Drag race, road race, autoX, etc.)

I've been pondering something like a very strong street setup, (i can deal with minimal driveability)... with plenty of top-end potential. Ive been trying to work something out centered around the modifications that the previous owner already did (1000cc injectors, 60-1 turbo, etc.) but i feel that his aim was just too draggy for me - not enough midrange at all. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

as far as a HP goal, i haven't thought about it much, but i guess around 500 would make me a happy man
